So Epic

So shelby, jeremy, my brother, and i were driving home from luke's house last night. we were about 50 ft from the light at paseo and golf course when we saw a ton of police flashy lights and saw that they had a line of cones between each lane. so automatically we start thinking there was some major accident or something. so we keep driving and i start counting police cars. pretty much a total of like 12 in a 20 feet area. so we were stopped by a cop right before the light and he asks Shelby if shes been drinking, taking any narctocis, or on any presciption meds. course she said no then he looked in the back were the boys were to make sure there wasn't any crack. then they let us through. it was intense. we were like pretty much thanking God like crazy that Tyler or Ryan wasn't in the car cause they had been going on all night about how Shelby was high. im pretty sure if they were with us they would have opened their big mouths. so yea thank you, Jesus. anyways thats it. hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!!!!

bout time

so seeing how i haven't really written anything in forever, ive decided to try to squeeze in as much as possible till Robert gets out of class. so last friday i got my learners permit. happy to say i did really well on the test. only one wrong. but my driving since hasn't been quite as good. you never realize how hard it is to drive till you get behind the wheel. ive almost gotten in an accidnt like 3 times (my mom pretty much hates driving with me now) so im trying my best to remember everything from the drivers ed book and what my parents have taught me over the years. so yea its interesting. lets see how i turn out. so other than that this next week is going to be pretty boring. i go on wednesday to take my PSAT at prep so im kinda nervous about that cause if i don't do well i don't have a good chance of getting a scholarship. then that friday my family and i are going down to Cruces to take a sorta tour of State cause i really really really want to go to school there. so saturday is going to be my day as an Aggie. im pretty excited and nervous because if i don't like it there, im going to tech and i really don't want to go there. so me praying i like it and that its where God wants me. so busy busy these next 2 weeks. but i like not being bored so its all good. so now i have to go cause Robert is here. adios!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yesterday was pretty much the best day of my life, the best birthday ever, and the most crazy time i think all of us have had at my house. love you guys and thanks for making this birthday the greatest!!!!

ok so saturday my parents were out garage saleing (sp?) trying to find a dresser for my brother. so they got home and were all like "we found a drum set but your brother changed his mind about playing drums." so i told them that i had been wanting to learn. so they were like "ok i guess we can go back." so we left, picked up jared w (cause he knows stuff about drums) and went to go look at the set. apparently it was nice cause we bought it. so now i just need to find someone to teach me. then my dad and i had taken my guitar to get it fixed cause the piece that holds the strings at the bottom was coming off. it was going to cost 80$ to fix so my dad just said that we were going to buy me a new guitar instead. so i got a fender. its sweet. sounds like honey. then my dad tried tinkering with my old guitar and got it fixed!!! so currently we have 2 pianos, one drum set, and 3 guitars in our house. crazy madness. anyways im done. adios

dumb pieces of technology

haha i totally can't spell that. oh well at least Jared doesn't have to read this and make fun of me because of it. anyways the reason for my title is because technology is stupid!!! my family and i were in santa fe this weekend and before we left my mom had unplugged our computer. then we got back and i plugged everything in and the computer wouldn't turn on!!!! so my mom and i spend about an hour unplugging everything and plugging it back in. we finally just gave up and called mr. williams cause hes like THE MAN with computers. so he came over last night to fix it. we were all watching so if it happened again we could fix it. well apparently he unplugged the main, the plugged it in again and VOILA!!!! the computer turned on!!!!!!! we sat there laughing because my mom and i had done the same thing for an hour!!! it was awesome. so yea mr. williams is like the computer magician or something. so yea that was the computer problems. then i had gone to the zoo on thursday and was trying to take some pics. my dumb camera power button was jammed though so i couldn't turn it on!!! so i got home and tried taking the screws out to take the casing off to pop it back out. couldn't get the casing off and i landed up losing one of the screws. so happy. so i just decided to buy a new camera. should be here by monday at the latest. so excited! its going to be so pretty. anyways adios ya'll!

after 4 years, 1 month, and 20 days....

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh i got my braces off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i miss them now though.

So as of right now, my life is pretty much amazing except for one minor issue. pray i can make the right decision!!! so we had a meeting at church this afternoon for all the crave leaders and for the core. we pretty much just talked about the ministry's vision, what we would like to see changed, and stuff like that. then we got this huge, amazing, astounding, incredible anouncement!!! so everyone will have to go to service next weekend to hear what us special people know!!!! woot

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

so here are the last 3 days of Tech. wednesday class was pretty much the same as the previous days. cool thing was we had gotten a break and decided to go take a walk outside. one of the girls that i had been hanging out with saw some guy she knew (cause she lives in socorro) so we went to go talk to him. we noticed when we got there that some people had cameras on the guy. then this random person came and told us we had to move to the sidewalk. not sure what the heck was going on, we asked around. then we found out that they were filming a tv show called Man vs. Cartoon. i guess they try to get the inventions that Coyote uses to get Roadrunner (the cartoon) to work in real life. it was pretty cool. then we went back to class. so that night we played capture the flag again. have to say it was pretty boring because there was like 10 people on each team. so yea... boring!!!!!

thursday was pretty exciting. we took a field trip up to Langmuir Observatory (its this like telescope i think used for atmpsheric and astrologic research). it was awesome because one, the road up there was all curvy and cool, two it was sooo cool up there (not hot like it was in the town), and the views up there were incredible!!! so we got to the top, took pictures, talked a little bit, then headed back down the mountain. it was cool. that night was the pool party. it prolly would have been a lot funner of it wasn't so windy or cold. i spent about 10 minutes in there then got out to go shower. then about an hour later some people started watching Shawn of the Dead (spoof off of Dawn of the Dead). it was interesting. we didn't want to watch it so we went swing dancing instead. or tried to anyways. no one would ask my friend and i to dance so we left. i went back to my dorm and started packing. then after everyone had to be back in their doorms for curfew, my roommate informed me that she and some friends were going to sneak out. why she told me this i have no idea. she said she didn't want me to get in trouble, which was why she told me, but what happened if someone asked me??? so i sat there thinking about whether i should tell my RA (room administrator or w/e) because it was against the rules. i wasn't going to say anything until i started thinking that if something happened to the girls, it would be pratially my fault because i knew something and didn't tell someone. so the tattle tale that i am, i txted the RA. i stayed up till about 1 listening to my roommate talk on the phone and waiting for my RA to tell me i could go to sleep. awful night.

friday was boring. at class, instead of a final, we watched an Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore. other than the fact that he just HAD to mention that he didn't win the presidental election, it was an interesting movie. so then class got out and we started walking back to our doorms to check out. i found my mommy and bro waiting on the 2 story. so we finished cleaning my room, said bye to everyone, and we left.

so overall i had a pretty good week. i realized too that there is a very slight chance that i will study Atmospheric Physics or go to Tech. so yea!!! wow that was a lot of typing. im tired..... i think im going to crash. NIGHT!

random

so tonight i went to go see Wall-E with Robert and su madre. it was an interesting movie. kinda cute/corny. that wasn't the best part of the night though. see we were in the taurus. apparently the driver's side door is werid. so robert kept trying to unlock the door after we were done eating and after the movie. lol poor kid sat there trying to open the door and shaking it and everything. it was hilarious. then his mom went and tried to help and still didn't work! so she came and unlocked my side and i had to unlock both the drivers and back seat doors. then for the movie i got my door open and the back seat then Robert FINALLY opens the drivers side. man it was awesome. lol ok bye

Day 2 and 3 of NMT

so since i didn't write anything yesterday im going to group monday and tuesday into one post. monday will be first. so yea monday morning was my first day of Atmospheric Physics. i have to say i was kinda worried because i didn't know if it would be hard or not and whether i needed to know physics or not. turns out it was pretty fun and i didn't need physics at all. we started making a sun photometer (measures airisoles in the atmosphere). so yea it took us about 3 days to finsh making that. it was fun though. then that night some people went to play paintball while the rest of us went and played capture the flag (i think). my team won!!!! then we went to bed and slept like babies.

so then tuesday morning was pretty much the same cept we also launched a weather balloon to measure the atmospheric preasure, dry temp, and wet temp. that was kinda cool to do. then that night was a dance. this was the first time i had ever been to a dance where there was no christian music and people were allowed to dance THISCLOSE!! it was funny watching lines of people grinding. talk about awkard. then the dj would play country music and 3 guys asked me to dance, one asking more than once. i told him no the second time. then after this one guy and i finished dancing we started dancing to rap in a circle and he started dancing gross and coming close to me. so since i saw people dancing like that (dirty dancing or w/e) i was scared and didn't want to cause thats not how i am. so i started telling him no and he kept telling me to. i was like NO! then he stopped. so other than that the night was fun. then we went back to our dorms and slept like babies... again!

so this week was my chance to take a peek into the college life. i went down to New Mexico Tech in socorro for a minicourse program. so we got there around 3 on sunday afternoon, unpacked my stuff in my dorm, met my roommate, and walked around campus. so the family left round 4:30 and i pretty muich hung out in my room with my roommate, Camille, and our suitemate, Margaret. so then we went to dinner and just hung out, ate food, and tried to get to know one another. so then after dinner a group of people went and played capture the flag but Margaret, 2 other girls, and i went and played egyptian rat-screw. it was awesome. so im going to keep the suspense and write about every day there... well every day. so here is day 1! stay tuned for day 2 tomorrow

so tonight was Mariah's goodbye/birthday/surprise party. it was pretty fun. we ate and played skipbo. but here is the best part of the night.

ok then. so matt and jordan had been joking around all night about tampos stopping nosebleeds. if you don't know what in the world that means, go watch She's The Man. so a while later we were just hanging out and i heard nosebleeds. so i was like "yea you use condoms to stop them". yea it was horrible because i totally meant to say tampons!! then jordan and i died laughing at my stupidity and i prayed my little heart out that very few people heard me say that. it was bad yet hilarious at the same time. ok there you go

Oh my gosh!!!!!!! this has pretty much been the coolest 3 weeks of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so about 3 weeks ago my mom took me to the library. i found 4 ted dekker books and started reading them because i absolutely LOVE ted dekker. so the first book i read was obsessed. nothing quite exciting about that if i remember correctly. then i started on saint and i realized, this mentions a lot of stuff that is found in showdown and might have something to do with red, black and white! so then i read blink and again, nothing quite interesting in there. finally i read skin. that pretty much brought everything into perspective. see there is a killer in there that goes by red. in house there is a killer that goes by white and in showdown, there is a kiler that goes by black. then i started thinking about the books in this series called red, black, and white!!! man i was so excited! so i googled everything to make sure i wasn't crazy and i wasnt!! red, black, white, showdown, saint, sinner, house, skin, and some other books are all tied together!!! man i love ted dekker. ok my rambling is done and i think i may have repeated myself a few times. sorry about that.

finally!!!!

after 4 years and 15 days of torture, my braces will finally be coming off in a month and a half!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cannot begin to explain how happy this makes me!!!!!!!!! see because i was only supposed to have them one for about a year or year and a half but since my teeth wouldn't fall out then would take forever to grow in, one year turned into 4! so now im happy. now ill have pretty straight teeth without metal in time for school!!!!

a thing called love

so tonight my mom and i watched 27 dresses. normally i will try to avoid watching chic flicks but there was nothing else to do so i caved. it was an interesting movie. everyone prolly knows what its about so im not going to bother talking about the plot. one thing i will mention is the fact that even though she hadn't found the right guy, never had anything go her way, and had to put up with being the bridesmaid in 27 weddings, the lead character never lost hope in finding her one true love and having the wedding of her dreams. after watching it i started thinking. even though we feel like we will never find the right person, feel sometimes like we are alone, and feel like the world is against us, God has something else completely in store for us. He has someone uniquely special for each one of us. Even though we may feel alone and like everyone is against us, God will never leave us nor forsake us. He will always love us, care for us, and he always has out best intentions in mind. We may not think so at the time but everything that happens to us is for a reason. We may not have the love of people here on earth but we will always have the love of our Savior. Those thoughts, even though life is heck right now, are what keep me going. i hope this maybe has helped someone and if not, well its a venting session. hope someone got a kick out of it.

Crazy Hispanic people

graduation parties galore!!!!!!! thats all that happens around here now. so this weekend my family and i drove up to Canyon City, Colorado for my second cousin's graduation party. we left around 8 on friday morning and caravanned (ignore the spelling) with my family up there. we stopped in Las Vegas, had a huge breakfast, bought cheesecake, then continued on up to CO. so we got to our hotel around 3, hung out for about an hour, then went to my uncle's house for a BBQ. such yummy food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then we went swimming. it was boring. our night though turned out to be more exciting then the entire day. normally my brother and my dad sleep together in a bed with my mom and i in another. well my brother and dad kinda didn't fit so my brother slept with me. (don't freak he was on covers i was underneath) kid couldn't sleep though because "the bed is too hard!!!" so he moved back with my dad cause that bed was softer and my mom moved back with me. then we fell asleep. next morning i find out that my brother woke up screaming for no reason. horrible night. we all got prolly at most 7 hours and at least 2. it was bad. we moved to a different hotel for the next night though and got 2 adjoining rooms. the graduation party was fun though. mostly because all my aunts and uncles drink. those guys are so werid! thank goodness none got drunk. i was surprised. so the party went till like 8 and we went back to the hotel to crash. it was sooooooooooooooooooooo nice! it was brand new (had opened on friday) so everything was clean and soft and awesome!!!!! then we drove home today. it was boring. now im tired. oh so tired. excited though because LONE TREE IS IN A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehe

Fundraiser

so today my brother and i went to go paint a house to earn money for camp. we thought that there would be 4 people, including us, painting at the house but it turns out that it was only my brother and i. with the help of the lady and her husband, we painted a loft, utility room, bathroom, and living room!!! all in a minimum of 6 and a half hours!!!!!!!! it was a ton of fun. i got the which the people's daughter and friend sorta flirt with my brother. it was interesting to watch/listen to. so now im exhausted and i need to go get ready for service!!!!!!!!!! goodbye

Party!!!!!

So last night was Buddy's suprise graduation party. It was a lot of fun. Buddy didn't have a reaction at all (which made me sad) but at least he didn't find out about it. So after Robert brought him to the house, we started eating yummy food and listening to who knows what. After eating we played 4 on a couch, have you seen my goat, duck duck goose, sardines, taboo, and mafia. while we were playing 4 on a couch, the thomas' futton thingy broke. so we lost the comfy "couch" and had to sit on the floor. Have you seen my goat was the same as it usually is:violent. duck duck goose was kinda boring because almost no one would bother chasing the person who called "goose" on them. so we got tired of that and switched to sardines. that was fun. guys are good at hiding. i called robert to try to figure out where he was the second time and even with him talking out loud, i still couldn't find him! i wasn't the last one to though so i was happy. then we went inside and played taboo (or was it taboo then sardines??). im pretty sure guys should never get a hold of the buzzer. its noise non stop till like a girl or really calm guy gets it. it was fun though. i think the girls beat the guys. then we played mafia. that was fun too. i never got to be killed by the mafia!!! only by a crazy guy who has a personal vendetta against me lol. so after mafia everyone pretty much went home. it was fun. can't beleive buddy's not a senior anymore. i wonder how his precious sweet girlfriend will handle his being gone at college. we will miss you!!!!

jump jump jump

so the m88 super-prom was last night. it was so amazing! went to Robert and Elizabeth's house, ate sandwhiches, got dressed, and took like a billion pics with them, Buddy, and Rachel. then we left and tried to find our way to the convention center. we got there early so we had to wait like a half hour before they would let us into the room. then they let us in and it all went down. danced the night away. it was awesome i was a maniac. i was jumping around, twirling, and prolly looking like an idiot. so what it was a blast. so then i actually got to see Robert, Buddy, and Elizabeth dance (the last 2 was awesome by themselves cause they only danced "as a couple") then i got my favorite brother in the world, eric, to shake his booty. it was fun. im now really sore and ive got bruises. totally worth it thought. then tonight we had a girls night where we were taught self defense. it was cool Rachel got to hurt me and i think i might have caused her a second of pain, who knows. then they lady, Carry i think, made this really funny comment. It was something along the line of "20 pounds to crush it, and 40 pounds to yank it off." im sure you guys can figure out what "it" is with a little imagination. then we danced the Cotton-eyed Joe (they actually taught us how to do it), the cha cha slide, the electric slide, and the macarena. it was fun. i love people. now i want to sleep cause im going to have an interesting day tomorrow.

To infinity, AND BEYOND! (or however its said)

So on friday i went to spend the night with my amazing wife. it was fun. we went to Olive garden with her dad and sis and had fun talking about awkward things. then they laughed at me cause i was supposedly blushing about someone (carly, you say what and i shall... do something). then we went back to her house and hung out. then we decided to watch Across the Universe because carly ahd to give it back to her friend and she didn't want to watch it a lone. well that was one interesting movie. the music was amazing! ive been singing it daily. i need the soundtrack now. then we were scarred for life, talked for ever, messed with pictures, and listened to music. it was awesome. so we went to bed around 2:30. i woke up the next morning around 9:45 and learned that i had talked in my sleep the night before. i haven't done that in FOREVER! i guess i was scolding moochie cause he was making noise. weird. so we showered and got ready then went to eat at Jason's Deli with her mom and dad. it was good. other embarrassing stuff happened at the restaurant, similar to that of friday (again carly, you comment ill do something to you). then we went back to her house, made yummy pumpkin chocolate chip cookies then went to church. the rest of the night was pretty uneventful. so was sunday. so was today cept for my dentist cleaning. i hate getting my teeth cleaned. it hurts. good news was though that ive been doing a good job brushing my teeth. maybe they will actually be pretty when i get dumb braces off! now im bored... la la la la la la

mid schoolers

so yesterday i had a doctor's appointment. ive had these things on my feet that HURT LIKE YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE! my mom and i didn't really know what they were which is why i was at the doctor's. good news was that the things were tumors or anything lol and they should be going away in about 2 months if i follow the instructions to get rid of them. so i was pretty happy about that. though i will still be having pain for prom and dancing on my feet so that kinda sucks. then i had to get a short to prevent this cancer crap and it hurt. *sniff* so i called my daddy and asked him if he could take me for ice cream. so since hes amazing he said we could go after we dropped off my brother at his small group. then when we got home and i found out that i got accepted to this summer program thing at New Mexico Tech this summer!!!! i was really happy about that. then after dinner my dad and i went to take my brother to his small group. so we got to the Thomas's house and since im retarded i decided to go and tell Robert and Elizabeth the good news about Tech. so i told Elizabeth and her reaction "Your a nerd. Why do you want to go to Tech?" lol so i had to explain to her that i AM nerd and i just like tech. then i told robert and he said "cool!" so i got one positive reaction. then i left and my dad and i went to Coldstone to get ice cream. it was yummy. so after that my dad took my back to the Thomas' and i stayed for the rest of the mid school group. it was awesome. those kids are genuises!!!!! a lot of fun too. then after the study we played a game and just hung out. it was fun. im hoping to go back i just have to check with JB first because of issues and such. so yesterday was a good day. today was boring

paint paint and more paint!!!

so yesterday was second saturday. i went with carly and her mom and we went to Storehouse West. They provide food and clothing for people, its pretty much a savers/goodwill cept with food too. So everyone was supposed to paint the interior of the building. So everyone started to paint. Then after like 20 minutes i noticed that i was COVERED in paint. it was pretty funny. everyone there was like "is this your first time painting or something?" well as a matter of fact it technically was. so carly started showing me how to paint right and i got the hang of it. we painted the walls and doors and such. it was fun. then i had to be at the church at 3 for worship practice. it went fine like it always does. then church came around and worship came around and it was a mess. apparently i wasn't moving like at all and everyone wanted me to move more. totally stressed me out (i didn't fall asleep till like 11 thanks to that.. and other reasons). then after both services the highshcoolers went to Peter Piper Pizza to hang out. well jordan r, carly, joey, and i decided to walk to sonic and get edible food. it was fun. then we went back to peter's and talked to joey till we left. it was pretty fun/funny. then i got home and stressed out and it was bad. and im totally writing run on sentences. oh well. this morning i had to be at the church at 7:30 for more worship practice. that went better. then amazing people came and made my life easier. so it was a good day. cept when Jared was being a jerk to me. we were getting ready to leave and i offered to carry drum stuff so he picked up both drums and said they both weighed the same so i took one of them. it was soooo heavy!!!! then we got outside to the car and mr. williams said that the drum i was carrying was heavier than the other one. horrible child had set me up!!!! grrrrrr. lol it was kinda funny though. now my brother is being jerky. beef jerky!!

i have a date to prom!!! man that makes me happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok breathe in, breathe out. thanks kid you have already made this prom experience amazing. (good luck tomorrow)

freedom and prom- two wonderful things

so since like the last week in march till today ive been grounded. depressing i know but i
deserved it. i was not doing well in my school work (according to my mom) so i got grounded. then last week and today ive been getting grades that make her happy so she decided to give my back my freedom. only on weekends though. now onto the next subject.


when i found out about the m88 prom i was totally bummed. i mean KJ-52 and Superchic are going to be there. can't stand either of them. so i was planning not to go and maybe do something with friends. well everyone else was going to prom so i couldn't really hang out with anyone. so i decided "what the heck everyone is going who knows i might have fun with them." so im going. then on monday a friend said that he was going to ask me to prom but since i said i wasn't going, changed his mind. so i told him i was going. then i spent 2 days wondering if i had read the email right or what then i get a call wednesday night from him asking if he could talk to my dad. that confirmed it. so he asked my dad if he could take me to prom and my dad said yes. so i might actually have a prom date this year! thats exciting.. now im bored and run out of things to say. i love you all!!

Lauren Alicia

so yesterday and today have been 2 interesting days. yesterday, since i didn't have school, i decided to do something different with my hair. i curled it differently and i love it!! then my parents went to go put money down on a toyota avalon since we needed a new car. so we bought a new car! then i went and spent the night at carly's. haha we stayed up till 2 in the morning talking, listening to music, and taking pictures. it was fun times. then today we had to go shopping for ham, yams, milk, and peanut butter so we went to sams. on the way out i had like 20 of the sagebrush business cards so carly and i stuck them in the wind shields of cars. it was fun. then they dropped me off at home. i was surprised to learn that we were donating our van because i thought we would sell it and at least have it for a while. so the guy that came to pick up our van was apparently the dad of his jerk who went to calvary. so now im rushing to finish this cause im leaving for tonight's Easter service. PIZZA PARTY BABY!! Then i got a call this morning at like 10:30 from my mom that my cousin was in labor and in the hospital. so tonight when we got out of the service my mom checked her voicemails and we got the news! Lauren Alicia (pronounced like Ralf Lauren) was born!!!!!!!! i was so excited!!! i literally started jumping around and went at told like everyone i knew! very few of them cared though so that stunk. oh well i was happy!!!! im a second cousin again!!

so today Elizabeth, Buddy, Evie, Jared, Robert, my brother, and I went to go see Jumper. it was pretty good. kinda funny because Hayden Christensen is not a great actor. I loved him in Star wars and everything but hes not a good actor. so that made the movie funny. then my parents picked me and my brother up and we went to look at cars. we found one so i think that might be "the one." pretty excited. ta-ta for now

Fly away!!!

I so wish i could. Yesterday my family and i went on a tour of Eclpise Aviation. For all of you who don't know what that is, they build planes and are located like right by the airport. so like this guy we know works there and wanted to take us on a tour. I have to sqay it was one of the coolest things i have ever done. We got to see the factory where the built the planes and see the different parts. We got to see what the planes looked like with paint and everything. it was pretty amazing. i really wanted to fly after that but with me being blind i can't. so i guess God doesn't want me to fly. sometimes i wonder why but you know He has a bigger and better plan for me. i just have to trust him. regardless of how much i want something.

late..

so i decided that i would elaborate on disciple now. there were about 200 kids and each group was assigned a host home for the weekend. my group's host home was our leaders home so that was nice. elizabeth and i got there around 6:30 then everyone hung out till around 8 when we were supposed to be at the church. So we got there and were given an amazing message in a video by this one guy about the universe. it was amazing. we are so small. then jared announced that our scheduled game was canceled because of some complications. so everyone was all bummed cept Elizabeth and Amanda because their sixth sense was telling them we were still having our game. So everyone piled into their cars and then we hear Stevo, the m88 dj, saying that everyone needs to go back to sagebrush. So we all headed back and got our instructions: we had to find our pastor and the "underground church" without getting caught by Roman soldiers. so all the times headed out to find Jared. there were glow sticks all around the campus and we would follow them and take them since we didn't know that we weren't supposed to. so we had collected like 15 then found out we weren't supposed to take em so we threw them by this bush and you could see it from a distance! so we kept running around trying to find jared but we lost amanda cause sje got caught. after like 15 minutes we found jared but the softys' were all mad at us cause we didn't follow them to jared. we just wanted to be careful and didn't know if they were roman soldiers! so we lost but it was still fun. now im tired of talking about this so i think i shall end this post. the weekend was awesome though. realized a few things too that may not have made my life any easier. oh well

KGB

So on saturday my church started their first highschool only service. It was pretty good. Good message and there were no silly middle schoolers to be found. Then after service, we played this game called KGB(named after the russian mafia). So how the game was supposed to be played was all the leaders would get in their cars and drive around the aread from out church up to Hastings. All the kids were supposed to make their way to Hastings and back without getting caught by the KGB. So the leaders left then the rest of his teenagers got on our way. Elizabeth and I thought it would be better if we waited till everyone else left so we were like really far behind everyone. We just walked slowly and talked for a while. Then we got to this big field and had just started crossing it when we see this lone figure come running. Elizabeth started shouting "Who are you? State your name!" or something like that (shes so cute). Well all of a sudden we hear this evil laugh and realize its Tasha, my pastor's wife. She tagged Eizabeth and i was slowly walking away trying to keep distance between myself and Tasha. She was trying to get me to come over there but i didn't want to. Then she said that if we got tagged, we became KGB and could tag other people so i let her tag me. Then Elizabeth and I went off in search of unsuspecting people. We didn't really see anyone till we got to hastings and there was like a huge group there! but we couldn't tag them so we just headed back to the church. Then we were walking behind some buildings and we see Robert and Doug walking by us. Elizabeth asked them if they had been tagged ands they says yes (i think) then Robert asked us if we had. Apparetly we didn't asnwer fast enough because he and Doug took off running. I chased Doug for like 30 seconds then got too tired and let him get away. So i started walking all alone when Elizabeth calls me, telling me that Robert is walking a ways behind me and to tag him. So i asked these 2 guys near me if they could help me and this one guy was like "sure" and took off after Robert. I didn't actually see this take place but according to ELizabeth the guy was like a major runner. His friend was there too and they had his way blocked and he started running towards where i was. So i started running to see if i could catch him and i barely grabbed his shirt. So i finally tagged someone! sorta.. but yea then we made our way back to the church and hung out. Then everyone went to Dions and yea.. it was weird. So that was my saturday night? How was yours?

New Mexico Tech

So today was the day that my family and i were going down to Socoro to check out NMT. We had been planning this for a while because my parents wanted me to start looking at coleges now instead of later. So we got up at 6 so we could leave the house at 6:45. Took us about an hour and a half to get down to Tech so we didn't eat anything before we left. So we got to the campus and they served us breakfast then had a little introduction thing. Then the went over 3 different things like registration, dorms, and just what goes on there. Then we had a break for lunch and then started out for 2 demonstrations/labs. I did mechanical engineering which consisted of aerospace (like building stuff like cars and such), biochemical (health and body stuff.. kinda like biology), and explosives. Out of those 3 the aerospace and explosives looked pretty cool. Then we went over to the physics building. There was aerophysics which was weird and atmophysics, which involved stuff with like weather and the atmospher. The atmosphysics looked pretty cool. So i haven't decided whether im going there or not but it was cool to look. so now im tired, hurting, but glad i went.

Home..

When i left my first church, i was kinda sad but excited to start over somewheres else. Now thats ive been at this church for over a year, my feelings for it are not what i expected. I had been at my old church since i was born, my parents there before too. I made all my best friends there, had my first crushes there, and almost had my frist bf there. Had bad experiences happen there too but i loved being there. It was like home. i could spend hours on the campus even without someone i knew being with me. So when i left i was a sad. but i thought that my new church would be pretty cool and i would love it as much or more. At first it was like that. Yet now that ive been there, its different. the only services that i actually enjoy going to are the main and when i do go i like being by myself. Its not like i don't have friends its just that i don't feel welcome really. Normally im pretty outgoing. Its just with the group of people that i know from church i don't like being myself. I don't usually like putting myself in a position where i know im going to get hurt and i almost always get hurt when im myself. So it was really nice to go abck to my old church last night. I was nervous before because i hadn't been there in a year but i was also excited to see all the people who pretty much made me who i am today (other than God). So i got there around 6 cause i was meeting my friend there to hang out. well he was going to be late so i just went to the middle school building to see if i could find anyone i knew. It was awesome i got to see my favorite youth leader and pretty much the most amazing pastor ever!! Hes 6'5', 23 and acts like a 15 year old. i love it. so i talked with them for a bit then went to put my stuff down in the highschool building. After that i went and walked around in the bookstore/coffee shop. Then my friend showed up and we just hung out the rest of the night. it was really funny cause while hanging with him, i got to see some of my friends that i hadn't seen or talked to in a while. so we would walk up and id say hi and they would be like "OH MY GOSH!" and give me a hug. haha it was nice to feel loved. I missed those guys. So service was interesting.. like it wasn't great and it was horrible. but other than that the night was amazing. i kinda wish i had never left but i wouldn't have met some really cool people if i hadn't. so there is my deep post for like the year.

So i haven't posted in forever.. one because this has been blocked from the world and i haven't had time to write and two because ive been grounded. interesting story really. lets just say it involves myspace, a picture, and lying. didn't have a happy ending. but it taught me a lesson. so while i was grounded i got some interesting things started. for about a month now i haven't been going to any highschool services and have been sitting alone for the main service. its not like i was mad at anyone i just wanted to be alone and to be honest i loved being by myself. no distractions and i was actually comfortable with no one around me. so i think i might continue doing that. then i was sick for about a week and missed school. the next week i went back and got news that i had a science fair that saturday.. two days from that day of class. talk about freaking out. so all day friday my mom and i were rushing around trying to finish my science project and THANKFULLY we got it done. science fair was pretty boring though and wasn't worth all the work i put into it. then a week goes by and its valentines week!!! i didn't have one so i was kinda sad then decided to ask my friend elizabeth and she said yes!!! so on wednesday i went and bought her this chocolate rose. then on thursday for school i gave her the rose and she gave me one too!!! it was a pretty amazing day. school went well other than me being dead tired. Then for small group my friend that i haven't seen since september came!!! man that was awesome. missed him so much!!! so yea he was at group and we just partied cause it was valentines. even though he had to leave early and we didn't get to say goodbye that made that the best valentines ever. and for anyone who ever reads this no i don't like him like that. the kid just ahs a special place in my heart. so now its saturday and im nervous cause im going to my old church to hang out with my friend who came to group. so im like nervous.. but i think it will go well.

Broomball and Video games

So on friday my youth group went to Blades. We got there around 10 and had to wait for like an hour before we could get our skaters. Once we did that, we laced up and got on the ice. My left skate however was being dumb and was really bothering me. So i went to trade it for another one and they gave me a right skate skate instead. so i had to get back in line but it was better that time cause jordan and nialls were in line with me. so i got another left skate and it felt better. then i got back on the ice and skated by myself for pretty much the entire time we were out there. but it was nice cause carly would talk with me for a bit then jack hung with me for like 5 minutes so that was fun. hes a pretty cool kid. then we had to get off cause they were doing broomball. i didn't play cause i don't like broomball so me and Carly just watched and took pics cause i guess JB wanted her too. Then when everyone finished that we went back and forth from the soccer field to the ice because the middle schoolers were doing broomball and the highschoolers were doing doge ball. so Carly wanted to play dodge ball so i took over taking pics. was interesting to watch everyone do all that stuff. then when it was over carly and her mom had to take jared and i home. we had to go by walmart and it was kinda fun. well for me anyways. i was extremely hyper so it was fun. there was like no one there but it was 1:30 in the morning so i don't blame people. then they dropped me off at home and i got in trouble because i forgot to call my dad to tell him where i was. so i got in trouble then went to bed. the next day we had my dads retirement party so we cleaned all day. the party was ok pretty much the only highlight was seeing my "brother" eric cause i haven't seen him in forever. then not sucking at battlefront 1 with jared. other than that it was pretty much weird. i didn't like it. so my weekend was interesting. kinda sad.. but interesting.. okbye

Stomach Burns

ok so yesterday i woke up feeling sick so i put a heating pad on my stomach to help the pain. so then i got up at 630 to get ready for school and i saw that i had burned my stomach!!!! i was so happy!!!!! haha so i was telling everyone about it at school. then for literature we finished early so started rehearsing for these skits we have to do. We would say our lines then me and my friend would start talking about Twilight. Then i would interupt her and start the lines again so we wouldn't get sidetracked. When we finished that one we started talking about the book again!!! i think we drove this other guy crazy haha. after school i had math and i was kinda nervous because i was starting Advanced math. My teacher was going over the stuff with me and we realized that it might take me a long time to get through this book. Not too happy about that cause i want to get ahead. Oh well. Then smal group went well i actually had a normal conversation with a friend that i haven't realy talked to or hung out with in a while It was funny our conversation was about this girl thats been stalking him for the past few months. Ha silly boy hes funny. This morning was just boring with school and such. Then i was doing my hair and my mom figured out that we could cut some of my hair to make it look a little more like a bob cause i want to cut my hair like that. Its not exactly what i want but tis better then it was yesterday. So now im just sitting around waiting for it to be 930 because i get to go to Blades with my youth group, my wife, and all the amazing people i love. Its just sad that some amazingly awesome people won't be there.. sniff so my hands are hurting. That might be sign of too much typing. maybe i should go

ok maybe not a little.. 8 days is known as much. but hey i never said anything about new years! so even though its a week after new years im going to elaborate and bore you all. So new years eve my daddy had to work. we were going to my aunts that evening and were getting sorta ready that afternoon. well we had to get something out of the car and realized that we couldn't find the keys. my mom had apparently left her purse, with the keys in it, in the passenger seat. so we had to wait till 7 till my dad got home so we could open the door. then we left for my aunts. it was kinda boring since there weren't any kids there over 6.. and everyone else was over 35.. kinda boring. but we didn't stay very late cause we were tired and everyone else had gone home too. se we got home, went to bed, and didn't ring in the new years like normal people. so my new years was boring. then new years day carly and i wanted to do something so we had originally planned on going to the mall but her family was putting up curtains so we stayed home and helped with that. it was kinda fun cause i don't get to help decorate or do things in my house cause my mom is extremely organized and im not so i mess things up. then we just hung out at her house and got on the internet, listened to music, and i think obsessed over Edward Cullen. The next day we went to go see P.S. I love you because courtney didn't want to see national treasure again. The movie was pretty good other then a few awkward scenes. It was sad but really good. i think it might have been a true story too. maybe idk. but that was my new years. hope you all had a great one!
