so yesterday and today have been 2 interesting days. yesterday, since i didn't have school, i decided to do something different with my hair. i curled it differently and i love it!! then my parents went to go put money down on a toyota avalon since we needed a new car. so we bought a new car! then i went and spent the night at carly's. haha we stayed up till 2 in the morning talking, listening to music, and taking pictures. it was fun times. then today we had to go shopping for ham, yams, milk, and peanut butter so we went to sams. on the way out i had like 20 of the sagebrush business cards so carly and i stuck them in the wind shields of cars. it was fun. then they dropped me off at home. i was surprised to learn that we were donating our van because i thought we would sell it and at least have it for a while. so the guy that came to pick up our van was apparently the dad of his jerk who went to calvary. so now im rushing to finish this cause im leaving for tonight's Easter service. PIZZA PARTY BABY!! Then i got a call this morning at like 10:30 from my mom that my cousin was in labor and in the hospital. so tonight when we got out of the service my mom checked her voicemails and we got the news! Lauren Alicia (pronounced like Ralf Lauren) was born!!!!!!!! i was so excited!!! i literally started jumping around and went at told like everyone i knew! very few of them cared though so that stunk. oh well i was happy!!!! im a second cousin again!!

Horrible acting

so today Elizabeth, Buddy, Evie, Jared, Robert, my brother, and I went to go see Jumper. it was pretty good. kinda funny because Hayden Christensen is not a great actor. I loved him in Star wars and everything but hes not a good actor. so that made the movie funny. then my parents picked me and my brother up and we went to look at cars. we found one so i think that might be "the one." pretty excited. ta-ta for now

Fly away!!!

I so wish i could. Yesterday my family and i went on a tour of Eclpise Aviation. For all of you who don't know what that is, they build planes and are located like right by the airport. so like this guy we know works there and wanted to take us on a tour. I have to sqay it was one of the coolest things i have ever done. We got to see the factory where the built the planes and see the different parts. We got to see what the planes looked like with paint and everything. it was pretty amazing. i really wanted to fly after that but with me being blind i can't. so i guess God doesn't want me to fly. sometimes i wonder why but you know He has a bigger and better plan for me. i just have to trust him. regardless of how much i want something.

late..

so i decided that i would elaborate on disciple now. there were about 200 kids and each group was assigned a host home for the weekend. my group's host home was our leaders home so that was nice. elizabeth and i got there around 6:30 then everyone hung out till around 8 when we were supposed to be at the church. So we got there and were given an amazing message in a video by this one guy about the universe. it was amazing. we are so small. then jared announced that our scheduled game was canceled because of some complications. so everyone was all bummed cept Elizabeth and Amanda because their sixth sense was telling them we were still having our game. So everyone piled into their cars and then we hear Stevo, the m88 dj, saying that everyone needs to go back to sagebrush. So we all headed back and got our instructions: we had to find our pastor and the "underground church" without getting caught by Roman soldiers. so all the times headed out to find Jared. there were glow sticks all around the campus and we would follow them and take them since we didn't know that we weren't supposed to. so we had collected like 15 then found out we weren't supposed to take em so we threw them by this bush and you could see it from a distance! so we kept running around trying to find jared but we lost amanda cause sje got caught. after like 15 minutes we found jared but the softys' were all mad at us cause we didn't follow them to jared. we just wanted to be careful and didn't know if they were roman soldiers! so we lost but it was still fun. now im tired of talking about this so i think i shall end this post. the weekend was awesome though. realized a few things too that may not have made my life any easier. oh well

KGB

So on saturday my church started their first highschool only service. It was pretty good. Good message and there were no silly middle schoolers to be found. Then after service, we played this game called KGB(named after the russian mafia). So how the game was supposed to be played was all the leaders would get in their cars and drive around the aread from out church up to Hastings. All the kids were supposed to make their way to Hastings and back without getting caught by the KGB. So the leaders left then the rest of his teenagers got on our way. Elizabeth and I thought it would be better if we waited till everyone else left so we were like really far behind everyone. We just walked slowly and talked for a while. Then we got to this big field and had just started crossing it when we see this lone figure come running. Elizabeth started shouting "Who are you? State your name!" or something like that (shes so cute). Well all of a sudden we hear this evil laugh and realize its Tasha, my pastor's wife. She tagged Eizabeth and i was slowly walking away trying to keep distance between myself and Tasha. She was trying to get me to come over there but i didn't want to. Then she said that if we got tagged, we became KGB and could tag other people so i let her tag me. Then Elizabeth and I went off in search of unsuspecting people. We didn't really see anyone till we got to hastings and there was like a huge group there! but we couldn't tag them so we just headed back to the church. Then we were walking behind some buildings and we see Robert and Doug walking by us. Elizabeth asked them if they had been tagged ands they says yes (i think) then Robert asked us if we had. Apparetly we didn't asnwer fast enough because he and Doug took off running. I chased Doug for like 30 seconds then got too tired and let him get away. So i started walking all alone when Elizabeth calls me, telling me that Robert is walking a ways behind me and to tag him. So i asked these 2 guys near me if they could help me and this one guy was like "sure" and took off after Robert. I didn't actually see this take place but according to ELizabeth the guy was like a major runner. His friend was there too and they had his way blocked and he started running towards where i was. So i started running to see if i could catch him and i barely grabbed his shirt. So i finally tagged someone! sorta.. but yea then we made our way back to the church and hung out. Then everyone went to Dions and yea.. it was weird. So that was my saturday night? How was yours?

so i bought new shoes yesterday. they are pretty amazing

New Mexico Tech

So today was the day that my family and i were going down to Socoro to check out NMT. We had been planning this for a while because my parents wanted me to start looking at coleges now instead of later. So we got up at 6 so we could leave the house at 6:45. Took us about an hour and a half to get down to Tech so we didn't eat anything before we left. So we got to the campus and they served us breakfast then had a little introduction thing. Then the went over 3 different things like registration, dorms, and just what goes on there. Then we had a break for lunch and then started out for 2 demonstrations/labs. I did mechanical engineering which consisted of aerospace (like building stuff like cars and such), biochemical (health and body stuff.. kinda like biology), and explosives. Out of those 3 the aerospace and explosives looked pretty cool. Then we went over to the physics building. There was aerophysics which was weird and atmophysics, which involved stuff with like weather and the atmospher. The atmosphysics looked pretty cool. So i haven't decided whether im going there or not but it was cool to look. so now im tired, hurting, but glad i went.

Home..

When i left my first church, i was kinda sad but excited to start over somewheres else. Now thats ive been at this church for over a year, my feelings for it are not what i expected. I had been at my old church since i was born, my parents there before too. I made all my best friends there, had my first crushes there, and almost had my frist bf there. Had bad experiences happen there too but i loved being there. It was like home. i could spend hours on the campus even without someone i knew being with me. So when i left i was a sad. but i thought that my new church would be pretty cool and i would love it as much or more. At first it was like that. Yet now that ive been there, its different. the only services that i actually enjoy going to are the main and when i do go i like being by myself. Its not like i don't have friends its just that i don't feel welcome really. Normally im pretty outgoing. Its just with the group of people that i know from church i don't like being myself. I don't usually like putting myself in a position where i know im going to get hurt and i almost always get hurt when im myself. So it was really nice to go abck to my old church last night. I was nervous before because i hadn't been there in a year but i was also excited to see all the people who pretty much made me who i am today (other than God). So i got there around 6 cause i was meeting my friend there to hang out. well he was going to be late so i just went to the middle school building to see if i could find anyone i knew. It was awesome i got to see my favorite youth leader and pretty much the most amazing pastor ever!! Hes 6'5', 23 and acts like a 15 year old. i love it. so i talked with them for a bit then went to put my stuff down in the highschool building. After that i went and walked around in the bookstore/coffee shop. Then my friend showed up and we just hung out the rest of the night. it was really funny cause while hanging with him, i got to see some of my friends that i hadn't seen or talked to in a while. so we would walk up and id say hi and they would be like "OH MY GOSH!" and give me a hug. haha it was nice to feel loved. I missed those guys. So service was interesting.. like it wasn't great and it was horrible. but other than that the night was amazing. i kinda wish i had never left but i wouldn't have met some really cool people if i hadn't. so there is my deep post for like the year.
